resources & inspiration
TENDING TO OUR GRATITUDE:
In the spirit of gratitude and reciprocity, Wild + Sage Heart is pleased to acknowledge the following resources from land and community to teachers and centers. May they inspire curiosity as well as personal and collective growth and transformation.
land acknowledgement:
California, particularly the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula, has been called home for Meredith and her ancestors for generations, and she acknowledges that its history is long and complex. The Peninsula is on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples, and Meredith holds sincere reverence for the many generations of stewardship of this land from the human and more than human worlds. She is deeply grateful to share this land with the mighty Redwoods who take root on our coast and stand tall, the grey wolf who wanders its hills, the golden poppies who add their sparkle, the hummingbirds seeking nectar, and the vast ocean providing nourishment and a home for our sea mammals. Meredith is currently a guest on the unceded territory and ancestral homeland of the Southern Pomo and Coastal Miwok peoples in Sebastopol, Ca.
